KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday sought comments from the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) and others on a petition filed by a citizen against an alleged construction of high-rise building in residential area.

Headed by Justice Nadeem Akhtar, the SHC bench also directed the SBCA and the builder to produce the approved plan in next hearing.

The bench was hearing the petition filed by a citizen who moved the court against builders Noor Muhammad and Muhammad Haroon, who were allegedly raising construction without the permission of SBCA.

The petitioner submitted that builders were raising 6-floor building on a plot in Bihar Colony, Lyari Town which was the violation of approved plan, relevant rules and regulations.-PPI
