KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) preventive on Tuesday said it seized 650 grams of white heroin from a Nigerian passenger at departure lounge of Jinnah International Airport.

According to details, the staff posted at airport spotted a Nigerian passenger namely Nwaokime, who was travelling to Nigeria via Turkish Airlines flight TK-709. During examination of his belongings, the staff has recovered 650 grams of white heroin worth Rs. 6.5 million from his possession. This contraband heroin was artfully concealed in a make-up box. Consequent upon recovery, the case has been registered and accused has been taken into custody for further investigation.
