LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that Christian community is a respectable segment of our society and all the Christians enjoy the equal rights like every Pakistani.

He expressed these views during cake cutting ceremony in connection with Christmas celebrations at Alhamra Hall.

Hamza said that it is the priority of PML-N government to safeguard the rights of all the minorities.

He said that he will meet the local government members of Christian community very soon so that development work in their colonies could be started as early as possible.

He said that Pakistan is on its way to progress and prosperity. ‘Development work is being carried on Gwader Port round the clock and the country will get rid of load-shedding very soon,’ he said.

Hamza asked the opposition to take petty on the country and not create hurdles in the way of generations to come.

He said that only hard working and public service can pave the way to become Prime Minister of this country and not conspiracy. The event was attended by Provincial Minister Kh Imran Nazir, MPA Mary Gill and notables of Christian community.
