PESHAWAR: Adviser to Prime Minister and PML-N leader Engineer Amir Muqam has said that the PTI workers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa looked fed up with negative politics of Imran Khan.

He was addressing a public meeting in Thana area of Malakand division on Sunday. On this occasion, he laid foundation stone for construction of Grid Station of 220 KV being completed at a cost of four and a half billion rupees.

Amir Muqam said that Malakand and Mardan would benefit from the construction of grid station which would be completed by 2018.

Engineer Amir Muqam claimed that the leadership of PTI was merely holding sit-in protests while the PML-N leadership had been inaugurating development projects and schemes in different parts of the country.

“The PML (N) central government has been constructing motorways and railway lines throughout the country,” he said, adding that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would bring progress and prosperity to the country. He said that rapid work was underway on the development of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).

Mr Muqam said that PTI chief Imran Khan was against development that is why he had been creating hurdles in way of the central government.

“We are not raising hollow slogans rather we are practical people and have been working day and night for development of the country,” he added. He challenged Imran Khan to come out to streets once again as they were ready to counter him at every stage to expose his policies.
