PESHAWAR: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the approval of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has notified the extension of 13 laws related to Labour Department to the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (PATA) with immediate effect, said a notification issued the Home & Tribal Affairs Department here on Thursday.

These 13 labour related laws are included the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-KP Industrial Relations Act, 2010, KP Standard Weights and Measures Enforcement (amendment) act 2012, KP Payment of Wages Act, 2013, KP Industrial & Commercial Employment (standing orders) act 2013, KP Minimum Wages Act 2013, KP Industrial Statistics Act 2013, KP Factories Act 2013, KP Maternity Benefits Act 2013, KP Worker’s Compensation Act 2013, KP Prohibition of Employment of Children Act 2015, KP Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act 2015, KP Shops and Establishment Act 2015 and KP (Amendment of Laws) Act 2015.

According to details issued from Home & Tribal Affairs Department, KP, a summary was sent after the approval of President of Pakistan to KP Government for approval.

After approval of the KP Governor, Home & Tribal Affairs Department issued a notification to all quarter concerned and to apply these 13 laws related to Labour Department in PATA with immediate effect.
