PESHAWAR: Special teams of district administration arrested 32 profiteers during visit to different bazaars of the city before Iftar time here.

On the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Peshawar, Saqib Raza Aslam, under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner (AC), Peshawar, Mohammad Mughees Sanaullah, the Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs), Bashir Ahmad and Tariq Hussain carried out checking in different bazaars of the city.

During checking in Ramdas Bazaar, Asiya Gate, Sarki Gate, Yakatoot Bazaar, Tedi Gate, Ganj Gate and others, the special team arrested 32 profiteers. The arrested persons were included butchers, grocers, fresh milk sellers, fruit & vegetable vendours and others. The Deputy Commissioner has directed all AACs and other officers for conducting raids in bazaars during Iftar time to take stern action against the profiteers.
