LAHORE: The Punjab police have started preparation for introducing Shaheen Force in the provincial metropolis with an aim to bring reforms in the traffic management system.

The police officials said this was recommended by the Turkish experts who were invited to the city for holding consultations over different issues besides bringing changes in the police department.

Speaking to media persons, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Rai Ejaz Ahmed said this force will be similar to existing Dolphin Force. It will work only for the betterment of traffic management system in the city and will be comprised of traffic wardens.
