PESHAWAR: Mohammad Ibrar Khalil, a member of Awami National Party (ANP) Organizing Committee, and activist from provincial assembly constituency PK-5, who tendered resignation over differences on the party membership and organisation, has rejoined the party.

He made that announcement during a press conference at Peshawar press club on Monday. Flanked by the ANP provincial leader Khushdil Khan, chairman, members of district organising committee of ANP and others, Khalil said that he had resigned from the membership of organising committee over differences on the party membership and re-organisation process four months back.

But, he said that the party central and provincial presidents had not accepted his resignation. He said the party leadership addressed their grievances over the party membership and organization, therefore, he along with friends and party workers from the provincial assembly constituency PK-5, took back their resignation and rejoined the party. He reposed full confidence in the party’s central and provincial leadership.

He vowed that they would wholeheartedly take part in every party activity and spread the message of the party’s founding leader Bacha Khan from door to door. He furthermore said that they would continue to strengthen the party in their region.

Later, speaking on the occasion, Khushdil Khan welcomed the decision of Ibrar Khalil and people of his area for rejoining the party. He expressed that the party would be further strengthened by their decision.
