RECORDER REPORT

LAHORE: A dissemination meeting on the project entitled “Review of Routine Health Information System in Punjab: Exploring the Potential for Integrating Health Information Systems for Family Planning Data” was held at Punjab University Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS).

This project is funded by USAID and the technical support is provided by Measure Evaluation project, University of North Carolina, USA. Director ISCS Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zakria Zakar, principal investigator Mudasir Mustafa, co-principal investigator Prof Dr. Rubeena Ashraf, and Uroosa Yousaf (Research Officer) shared research findings.

More than 15 participants including healthcare policymakers, academia, and technical experts in family planning including Dr Ayesha Qureshi, Deputy Secretary Population Welfare Department Punjab, Dr Nusrat Jabeen, Director Health Services P&D, P&SHC Department Punjab, Dr Tahir Manzoor, in-charge health and nutrition UNICEF Punjab, Sarfaraz Kazmi, Director- FPAP, Dr Amir-ud-din Chohan, family planning Advisor, Punjab, Naveed Shaukat District Demographer Kasoor. The stakeholders shared their valuable feedback and recommended to strengthen the efforts of integration of health information system with regard to family planning data.
