FAISALABAD: Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the present government had given equal attention to the development of rural areas and a number of development projects including construction of roads were being completed in rural areas to facilitate the rural population.

He said this while laying the foundation stone for the construction of two roads at Satina Adda under Annual Development Program (ADP). The 25KM carpet Satina Jaranwala road would be completed at a cost of 42 million while 24 KM Satina Jhamra carpet roads would be completed with a cost of 50 million. The first phase of roads would be completed by the 31 march of this year.

Parliamentarians Ch Asim Nazir, Rana Shoaib Idress, Rai Usman Kharal, Chairman District Council Ch Zahid Nazir, Vice Chairmen Khalid Parvaiz Virk, Rana Zulfiqar Khan, Chairmen, Vice Chairmen of Union Councils, PML-N workers and citizens were present on the occasion.

The minister while addressing the ceremony said that wide network of beautiful and durable roads had been completed in the province for accelerating the socio economic development by providing the best communication resources under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He said that Khadim e Punjab Rural Roads Program (KPRRP) was a revolutionary step of the Punjab government. Under which thousands of Kilometres durable and carpet roads were being constructed in the rural areas of province by worth of billion rupees which would be best communication source from farm to market and other basic facilities including health and education for the rural population.

Sanaullah said that many villages would get benefit from these roads besides facility of transportation. He informed that the CM Punjab also approved the funds of Rs 300 million for the construction of Jaranwala Khurrianwala road and construction work would be started within next two week while this important project would be completed in the next three months.

The minister said that a State of the Art 200 bedded THQ hospital would also be established at Jaranwala for provision of advanced and best facilities to the local patients. He said that the Local Bodies system delivering best services to the people at gross route level. He advised the Local Bodies representatives to supervise the construction work in their areas for durable construction work. He said that Kahdim-e-Punjab Saaf Dehat Program has been started first time in the history of Pakistan and heaps of garbage in the rural areas are being removed in an efficient manners in the Rural Union Councils of Punjab.

He said that Punjab government will leave no stone unturned to redress the issues of sugarcane growers and fix price of their ripe had been ensured.

While provincial ministers, administrative secretaries and divisional and district administrations are mobilized in this regard.

He informed that the PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would visit Jaranwala on 27th of January and people of District Faisalabad would warmly welcomed their beloved leader and they have emotional attachment with him and people of Jaranwala would also thank to Nawaz Sharif for providing Sui gas facility to more than 100 villages and other facility in Health and Education.

Earlier, MNA Ch Asim Nazir, MPA’s Rana Shoaib Idress, Rai Usaman Kharal, Chairman District Council Ch Zahid Nazir and others also spoke on the occasion and thanked CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
