RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: Pakistan and Japan enjoy good relations and there is huge potential to increase bilateral trade between two friendly counties.

These views were expressed by Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Takashi Kurai while talking at dinner hosted by Karachi Council on Foreign Relation (KCFR) at local hotel on Thursday.

The Japanese Ambassador said Japan is not against China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). “We want that Pakistan should get all benefits of this mega project”, he said. He added Japan is not able to participate in this project because of lack of information.

Earlier, Chairman KCFR Admiral Shahid Karimullah (R) welcomed the guest and thanked for giving time for this event.

Secretary General and CEO of KCFR Ahsan Mukhtar Zubairi briefed the guest about the activities of KCFR.
