PESHAWAR: Four people including three minors were died while three people including two minors were critically injured in different roof collapse incident due to heavy rains accompanied by hail storm which lashed different areas of Mardan district.

Sources said that heavy and intermittent showers besides hail storm were witnessed in different areas of Mardan district.

They added that three incidents of roof collapse occurred in the district. Sources added that roof of a dilapidated house of Raheemzada located in Faqir Band area caved in resulting his wife identified as Safiha Rani and two children identified as Falak age 5-years and Rahil age 15-months were died while his 12 years-old child Eman got seriously injured.

The sources further said that second incident of roof collapse was occurred at Mirwiskillay at Charsadda road where the roof of the house of Abdur Rehman collapse as a result his 2 years-old child Yousaf Khan died while a 3 years-old daughter got seriously injured.

The third incident was occurred at Siribalool Takhtbhai where the roof of a house of Lal Mir collapses. As a result his 22 years-old daughter Sana got seriously injured. The dead bodies and injured were shifted to Mardan Medical Hospital for treatment.
