ISLAMABAD: The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has terminated the services of 41 interns of the authority, it was learnt.

According to a notification issued by the authority, consequent upon the recommendation of the committee constituted to deliberate on the administrative/ logistic/ financial hiccups/ issues faced by NACTA in its meeting held on September 13 and approved by the National Coordinator NACTA, the services of the 41 interns have been terminated in pursuance of clause (12) of offer their internship on June 22, 2018 with immediate effect.

Sources said that National Coordinator NACTA Mehr Khalid Dad Lak terminated the services of 41 internees who were appointed following a test conducted by National Testing Services (NTS) and interview. Their services were hired for one year but the authority terminated them after two months of service, they said.
