FAISALABAD: Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar has directed the district heads of different departments to give special attention for redressing the public complaints at their offices and the complainants should be provided relief after listening them with patience.

He was holding weekly open court at the premises of his office to listen the public complaints directly. During the open court the citizens submitted 92 applications pertaining to the complaints against different departments.

The Deputy Commissioner issued orders to the departments concerned for immediate resolving their issues to the aggrieved persons. The complaints included illegal possessions, change of revenue record, poor cleanliness, sewerage overflowing, financial assistance, employment applications and complaints against education, health and other departments. The Deputy Commissioner assured the complainants for the early redressal of their problems and said that the district departments had been mobilized in this regard. He informed that the proper monitoring was also being carried out to check the departmental action on the complaints. He said that weekly open courts were being held besides following the policy of open door of Punjab govt. for ensuring the govt. officers accessible for the people.
