FAISALABAD: President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) Syed Zia Alumdar Hussain has said that the business community of Faisalabad is fully aware of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and is successfully managing many free education and health institutes across the city.

Addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony of the Aliah Home Care for children with different disabilities, he said that philanthropists and NGO’s are doling out help and succour to the needy segments with a focus on health and education sectors. He also appreciated the Aliah foundation and said that it is yet another positive step on behalf of this NGO that this function has been arranged on the eve of international Wheel Chair day.

Continuing he said that special children are a test for the entire humanity and society. He said that it is our collective responsibility to look after the needs of the children with different disabilities without hurting their ego.

He said that government has also established many schools and colleges for special persons but yet there is room for the NGO’s and philanthropists to contribute their humble and generous role.

He said that it is also important to know that business community is by nature God fearing and they are already donating to the welfare institutes.

Miss Nadia Kamran Raza President Aliah Home Care told that her Foundation was established to provide help to the children with different disabilities. She told that rehabilitation programme have been worked out by keeping in view the mental, Physical, Psychological and educational hardships of the special children.

She further told that a unique technique has also been introduced to treat children with different disabilities through Quran Therapy. Similarly facilities of sports and basic learning techniques for computer are also being imparted to children in this Home.
