LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar on Thursday administered oath to Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan as the 50th Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) in a simple ceremony here at the Governor’s House.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar, Punjab Law Minister Raja Mohammad Basharat, Additional Attorney General for Pakistan Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, Acting Advocate General Punjab Shan Gul, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Shoaib Dastgir, judges of the LHC, vice-chairman of Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), Secretary Law Punjab Nazir Ahmed Ganjana, presidents and office bearers of Lahore High Court Bar Association and Lahore Bar Association were present on the occasion.

Chief Secretary of Punjab Major (retd) Azam Suleman Khan read the order of appointment of the Chief Justice of LHC.
