HYDERABAD: The District Administration Tharparkar has established 100 beds isolation wards in all the Taluka hospitals and rural health centers of District Tharparkar to cope with coronavirus affectees in District Tharparkar.

This was stated the District Health Officer Tharparkar Dr Irshad Ahmed Memon in a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Dr Shahzad Tahir Thaheem at his office.

District Health Officer Tharparkar Dr Irshad Ahmed Memon further informed in the meeting that 15 bad isolation wards in Civil Hospital Mithi, while 10 bad isolation wards established in each taluka hospital Chachro, Nangarparkar, Diplo, Dahli, and 5 bad isolation wards established in each rural Center Hospital in taluka Islamkot & Kaloi while isolation wards established in Alkhidmat Hospital Mithi and Al Mehdi Hospital Mithi and some places identify to be used for the quarantine purpose in the District Tharparkar including Government Circuit House at Mithi, Chachro and Nangarparkar, Government Thar lodge at Islamkot, Government CMW School Girls Hostel Mithi, indoor rooms of Al Khidmat Hospital Mithi, Indoor rooms of Al Mehdi Hospital Mithi, Indoor Rooms of trust Hospital Chachro.

Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Dr Shahzad Tahir Thaheem also directed to the health officials to adopt required precautionary  measures against the coronavirus and provide all the required medicines in the hospitals and directed to remain 24 hours alert so that untoward situation could be handled.
