ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Monday announced that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on July 31st in Pakistan.

The minister made the announcement through Twitter on Monday.

He said that the prediction was based upon the Ministry of Science’s five-year lunar calendar.

The minister tweeted as “As per calendar of @Ministry of ST Eid-Al-Adha shall be celebrated on Friday, July, 31st 2020. On 21st July ZeAlHaj moon shall be visible over Karachi and it’s peripheral areas, “Ruet” App may also be used to ascertain the exact location of the moon.”
