PESHAWAR: Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) Peshawar has planned to organize a training workshop for women entrepreneurs in collaboration with American Youth Council and US Embassy in Islamabad. This was stated during executive committee meeting of WCCI, chaired by its president Ms Rohi Zahir Shah on Monday.

She said the women entrepreneurs, attached with various businesses, would be given training regarding availing of National Income Tax (NTN) and information of other documentation process along with promotion of their manufacturing products, and marketing tools. She informed the WCCI had arranged a mega event ‘Peshawar Expo’ at Islamabad, which was played important role for development of linkages between women entrepreneurs and expanding of their businesses across the country.

Ms Fitrast Ilayas Bilour, has expressed satisfaction over the last-six month performance of Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and hoped it would be better perform and play role in coming days as well.

The WCCI Youth Forum, Chairperson Mariam Khan informed the forum has introduced its members with chamber of commerce SAARC countries. She said they have planned to arrange a training workshop with support of American Youth Council, while the forum had also arranged an E-business training workshop for youth female businesspersons. The meeting was also attended by the WCCI executive committee members, Nisar Luqmani, Fuazia, Huma Fayyaz Kiran, Nancy. Earlier, a six-month performance report of WCCI also presented.
