IoBM experts suggest practical solution

KARACHI: Institute of Business Management (IoBM) experts brainstormed on feasible and practical solutions to combat the energy problems faced by the country, says a Press Release from IoBM Public Affairs Section.

At this conference, organized by IoBM’s College of Engineering Sciences (CES) on Energy Self-sufficiency there was top brass representation from government, private, public and corporate circles.

The conference focused on engineering and entrepreneurial, professionals, technology providers, investors, students, researchers and academics to explore the entrepreneurial engineering opportunities in renewable and other energy options for resolving the energy crisis of Pakistan. The objective was to stimulate research and development of economically feasible energy solutions for Pakistan for the growth of entrepreneurship in the SME Sector. The theme highlighted existing research and technology that can be technically and economically feasible for small and medium size engineering entrepreneurs. The goal is to transform the engineering professionals from being job-seekers into job creators.

Invited as Chief Guests were Syed Asad Ali Shah, Former Adviser Finance, Government of Sindh and Syed Murad Ali Shah Minister Finance, Government of Sindh. Talib Karim Rector, IoBM welcomed the guests on this occasion.
