LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League’s (PML) Punjab Assembly’s ticket-holder, Syed Faisal Shah, from Fatehpur, Gujrat, with 23 former Nazims and councillors has announced to join the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

In a party joining ceremony and flag hoisting ceremony at party chairman’s secretariat on Friday, PTI Punjab Organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar said that the PML-N and PPP would not even be able to find candidates for party tickets and added that no political party would be able to compete PTI in the election arena.

He said that the country would be doomed, if the incumbent government completed its constitutional tenure. PTI Punjab deputy organiser Omer sarfraz Cheema, chairman secretariat’s executive director Fazil Asif, media taskforce head Jamshaid Iqbal Cheema, PTI Punjab women wing president Saloni Bukhari and others were present.

Chaudhary Sarwar said getting rid of the corrupt rulers and politicians was inevitable for real independence in Pakistan and added that the PTI was the only party that was struggling to make Pakistan as envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad iqbal. He committed that the PTI would drive the country out of darkness, if came into power.

He said that the party welcomed the politicians and their workers and supporters and hoped that their joining would further strengthen the PTI. He also said the governing and the Pakistan People’s Parties had become zero in political arena and that his party would never disappoint the masses.
