KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive-Quetta has announced to kick off the second phase of its operation against the showroom owners of non-customs paid (NCP) vehicles. According to the Deputy Collector Preventive Amanullah Tareen, the second phase of operation against the showroom owners of NCP vehicles was going to be launched on the directives of Collector Dr M Saeed Khan Jadoon. He said that raids were being conducted at various showrooms across the city with the assistance of FC, Police and Concerned Magistrate.

He said that they had so far conducted operations at showrooms located at Jinnah Town, Shahbaz Town and Airport Road and impounded several NCP vehicles.

In light of the directives of Honourable Supreme Court and High Court of Balochistan, the operations against showrooms dealing in NCP vehicles would remain continued in future, he maintained.
