ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s High Commissioner in India Abdul Basit says Pakistan wants to resolve all outstanding issues with India through composite and result oriented dialogue process.

In an interview with PTV, Basit said that Pakistan and India have an agreed framework for bilateral dialogue that was finalized during the visit of Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj last year.

He said India wants to avoid inclusion of Jammu and Kashmir in the dialogue but without Kashmir the dialogue process is meaningless.

The High Commissioner said that India wants to divert the attention of the world from gross human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir by levelling baseless allegations against Pakistan.—INP
