LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Thursday that Pakistan and China have signed agreements worth trillions of rupees during the recent visit of Pakistani leadership to China.

He said this while talking to media at Lahore Airport on his return from a visit to China on Thursday. “The recent tour of China, under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has remained successful from every aspect and the participation of chief ministers of the four provinces in ‘Belt and Road Forum’ has given a positive message to the world that we shall march together for the progress and prosperity of the country.”

Shahbaz said he got the honour to address the international leaders at the forum besides holding purposeful dialogue with Chinese leadership and other leaders.

He maintained that the love and affection given to him during his China tour was much more than ever before.

He added that agreements worth trillions of rupees had been signed between Pakistan and China during the recent visit of China and hoped that the implementation on those agreements would usher in new era of development and prosperity in Pakistan.
