SIALKOT: Provincial Minister for Local Government and Community Development Muhammad Mansha ullah Butt has said that adequate steps had been taken for the civic amenities to the people of Sialkot. Several big and small projects costing millions of rupees had been completed while most the projects pertaining to peoples’ welfare are nearing to completion, he said.

Addressing an open Kutchary held at Pakistan Muslim League House on Sunday, he said that the PML-N government is committed to resolving the peoples’ problems on top priority basis and many steps had already been taken in this regard.

Mansha disclosed that Parks and horticulture Authority had been set up in Sialkot for the beautification of city and provision of recreational facilities to the citizens, adding that horticulture Authority had initiated work on the improvement green belts and renovation of gardens.

The government was mobilizing all available resources to resolve the longstanding problems confronted by the citizens, he said. The minister further stated that Sialkot Waste Management Company had been step up in the area for ensuring cleanliness and disposal of rubbish and filth in a proper way.
