LAHORE: A spokesman of National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) said that the Lahore High Court has ordered for resumption of the Company accounts.

He said the Federal Board of Revenue had attached the accounts on 7th March 2018 on account of tax liabilities.

Spokesman said a number projects were affected due to non-payment of dues to the departments and firms.

Earlier, the NTDC spokesman had stated that attachment of accounts by the FBR was an illegal act and the FBR has exceeded limits. He said NTDC is a public sector organisation playing a vital role in supplying electricity to consumers.
