KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Human Settlements, Ghulam Murtaza Baloch has said that it is an undeniable fact that without making progress in the field of education, we can not get a prominent place among the nations of the world.

Speaking at Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at R M Academy (Qadimabad) Malir, he said only education can help us to get a respectable place in the society as well.

Ghulam Murtaza Baloch appreciated the performance of the teachers and the students that they organized a wonderful event and especially teachers, who encouraged their students to show good results.

He said that it was a matter of great satisfaction that private sector had made a valuable contribution in spreading education in the province.

Ghulam Murtaza Baloch told that Sindh Government, under guidance of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and leadership of CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, had done remarkable achievements in the field of education such as provision of free text books to the students, no admission, no enrollment and no examination fees from class ninth to intermediate classes in government educational institutions.

He said that to encourage girls to get education, stipends were being given to them as to motivate their parents to send them to schools.
