KARACHI: At least two persons were killed in separate incidents of violence at various parts of the metropolis, here on Tuesday.

According to police and rescue sources, a 27-year-old man was gunned down near Ibrahim Ali Bhai School located at Block VIII in the limits of Orangi Town police station. Police said that the identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained.

Another man namely Ishtiaq 24 was shot dead at sector IX, Musharraf Colony in the limits of Mochko police station. Police said that deceased hailed from Hazara and might have been killed over personal enmity.

Following the killing, inhabitants took to streets and staged protest demonstration at main artery where traffic remained stuck for hours. Later, the law enforcers dispersed the protesters and restored the traffic flow.
