LONDON: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman says his party has nothing to do with London Metropolitan Police to whomever it arrests.

“My London visits aims at meeting with surgeon to know condition of spine,” Imran Khan said while talking to media persons at the airport after arriving in London. He was probably referring to ongoing investigation against a political leader from a Karachi-based party.

The PTI chairman reiterated his opinion regarding rigging in polls on May 11 saying the PTI was deprived of many seats in the elections.

“We will continue our protest until getting justice. If justice is not granted then democracy couldn’t be strengthened in Pakistan.”

Earlier, Imran Khan had announced to hold countrywide protests against rigging in the polls if the Election Commission did not rectify scrutiny process of voting. The PTI has emerged as the second leading party as far as number of votes are concerned following the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. However, number of seats from Punjab is much lower than what party leader was claiming during the election campaigns.—INP
