PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to establish a trust for the families affected by militancy and terrorism aimed at providing free education to their children and catering to their other essential needs.

The decision was taken in the second meeting of the provincial cabinet held here on Tuesday with KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak in the chair. The meeting was attended by all provincial ministers, the secretary home, police and administrative officials.

The meeting decided to take strict security measures during Ramazan. It was also decided that the government would extend free Aftari to patients in public sector hospitals.

Talking to media persons, KP government spokesman Shaukat Ali said that the government had taken strict security measures to maintain law and order in the province.

He further said that the meeting decided to establish sports grounds at every Tehsil level, for which a PC-I would be prepared by the end of this month.
